Bernie Decorating Service is a full-service, family-owned decorating company serving the North Shore of Chicago since 1938. Bill Oppegard, owner and operator, has over 35 years of decorating experience and is an EPA-certified renovator. Bill works alongside with Rick Karels, who also has over 35 years of decorating experience. In addition, Judy Oppegard, experienced in interior decorating, gives color consultations and design advice to customers.

After decades of work and completing thousands of decorating jobs, we have earned the reputation as one of the top decorating companies in the Chicagoland area.
